Her style: With a vintage cotton scarf and a pair of custom-painted ballet flats, April styles up an everyday casual look. “He painted these!” she says pointing to her boyfriend Weylin about her shoes. She wears a T-shirt from the band Death in the Park with slim, straight jeans, which continue to be a trend. “I have a ‘do-it-yourself’ style.” While taking inspiration from music, magazines and the everyday world, April believes in making her own style. “I once bought a $150 Betsey Johnson belt, but then somehow lost it.” she says sadly. After a tragedy like that, her DIY philosophy proves to be practical as well as fashion-forward.
